How I Quit Smoking in 5 Simple Steps

Smoking is not only hazardous for the health, it is also one of the deadliest addiction one can get rid of because it easily fits into its victims everyday life. That means the victims wake up smoking, and goes to bed smoking, smokes after any meal, smokes during leisure time, smokes in the rest room and even smoke on the way to a job interview or an important function. Not only is it a dirty attitude, it has the capacity to ruin the lives of its victims and kill them off before they grow into old age.

Millions of people have been looking for many ways on how to stop smoking but most of what they have read on the internet are not helpful as they keep falling back into the same murky waters of smoking.

But the goodnews is that I have found a simple and very effective way to stop smoking! I guarantee you that smoking would be history in your life if you diligently these 5 simple steps I'm about to explain to you

1. Determination
There is no way you can quit smoking if you don't have the determination to want to do so no matter the prescriptions you are given from the best doctor in the world! This is because the nicotine content in cigarettes acts as stimulants in your brain that push you to want to smoke more and more by sending false signals to your body that you will crash if you don't light that next stick. So, my friend, the first thing I did in my quest to quit smoking was to be determined to finally call it quits after 13 years of chain smoking!

2. Start Eating More Bananas
YES, it is true that eating bananas have a high potency to help you quit smoking. Smoking quitters often feel lack of energy and are easily stressed out because of the cigarette cravings caused by nicotine. But bananas are full of essential vitamins and minerals that can boost your energy and calm you down in stressful conditions. Whenever you feel the urge to smoke, kill it by eating a banana.

3. Stay Away from Beer Parlors and Drinking Joints
If you don't want to slip, stay away from slippery places. That means you need to stay away from alcohol if you want to quit smoking. Alcohol is a powerful stimulant for nicotine craving. That's why you see that once you take one sip of that alcohol the urge to smoke instantly steps in and you just want to light that one cigarette and just one will lead to many and you are instantly back to where you have been trying so hard to avoid. For best results, stay away from alcohol for at least 4 months into your quit smoking quest. and it will be better if you can stay away forever!

4. Stay Away from Smoker Friends
This is a very simple one! the friends you move with determines who you are. I am not saying you should abandon or unfriend your friends. Just stop hanging out with them in clubs or in your favourite hang out locations. Because you will definitely get the powerful urge to smoke once they light up their flames in your presence!

5. Drink Plenty of Water
Drinking more and more water keeps your lungs lubricated and your body temperature at normal rate. Water automatically kills any urge to want to smoke. So next time you get the urge to smoke, instantly grab a cup of water and empty it into your stomach!

Nicotine addiction doesn't last for long. It will be out of your body starting from two months into your no smoking quest. Smoking would be bygone forever in your life, if only you can practice the above steps for just two months. Yours faithfully say so.
