Let us look at Buhari's records:
* His generation is a very
privileged one,
* In 1975 at the age of 33, he was appointed the
Military Governor of the North-Eastern State,
present day Borno &
Yobe states.
* In 1976 at the age of 34 he became the Minister for
Petroleum and Natural Resources.
* In 1978 at the age of 36 he became the
Chairman of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation
(NNPC).
* In 1983 at the age of 41, he became the Military Head of State.
Nowadays, many Nigerians at age of 35 are still
unemployed and still one room apartment. Many are still not married.
Life is a race, Buhari has ran his race, he should pass the torch on to the younger generation and let us run our race as well.
