A Ghanaian Farmer identified as Charles Soglo, 31-years from Adansi Nyakumase, in Ashanti Region, was hospitalized with a gunshot wound following a failed suicide attempt after shooting his wife, Doris Amoah, 21-years old, for denying him Sex.
Charles shot his hands, lost two of his fingers and then shot his chest. Charles and his wife were transported to the hospital when a team of police officers got to the scene.
Chief Superintendent Yaw Ohene, Takyi Adansi Fomena District Police Commander, confirmed the incident to Isaac Normanyo, Adom News Correspondent. he stated that Doris was rushed to New Edubiase Government Hospital for treatment while Charles was admitted to Saint Benito Mini Hospital at Adansi Dompoase under strict surveillance.
He also stated that the police had recovered a single barrel gun and that charge would be charged after his treatments.
