There is a war raging on the world, a war that is threatening to bring down civilization and throw humanity back into the stone age. This is a war that is threatening to invade our comfort zones and suck out our existence. Some of us might think we are safe now, that we are secured in the midst of our tight security web and that no harm can get to us. We feel so secure to the extent that we have little concern about how other people are being engulfed in the chaos and fury of this war.
So I have this to say:
* If America was so secured how did the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center hit them?
* How did the Boston bombers managed to manufacture home made bombs right under the nose of their security web?
* How did radicalization became so bold in the United Kingdom that extremists became so bold to hack down an army officer in broad day light?
* How did the Kouachi brothers obtained automatic weapons used in massacring 17 people and was so confident they stopped to reload their weapons without showing any signs of being in a hurry?
* How did ISIS managed to start pressing for the occupation of Ramadi, a town that many army officers lost their lives while trying to secure just a few years ago?
* How? How?
* I can keep going on from now to the end of the month.
Hundreds and thousands of innocent people are losing their lives to Terrorism every day in Africa and no one seems to care! The best publicity Africa is able to get on CNN & Aljazeera is a meager 30 seconds news update about thousands of lives been lost in Africa and that's it!
12 people were gunned down in Paris and the entire world news media abandoned other programs just to follow the Paris Massacre from start to finish. The world was held to ransom for almost a week just to know the situation of things in France!
World leaders descended on Paris to show their support for the Charlie Hebdo victims. My question is how many of them has been to Africa to stage a public demonstration in the hopes of sending out a single beacon of light that Africa has not been forgotten? How many?
The International Community only sits in their Ivory Tower and keep saying they want to stop Terrorism. They go about throwing billions of dollars around just to keep some people employed in the arms trade enterprise.
Long story short, There's no way terrorism is stopping if Africa keeps getting the shabby attention it is currently getting. You have to tackle terrorism in Africa if you want to stop Terrorism in Europe and the West.
The fact is that Africa is largely secluded from the rest of the world! African Extremists don't manufacture AK 47 and Assault Rifles NO! African Extremists don't have the technology to construct RPGs NO! African Extremists only go to Terrorist strongholds to learn the art of suicide bombing and making of IEDs.
These same Africans are constituting the majority of soldiers being recruited by ISIS and Al Qaeda. Africa is a hot bed of unemployment, economic crisis, social life hardships, viral infections and so many more. Make an offer of NGN10,000 to an average fanatic and he will gladly take up arms to destroy lives. Cheap infantry abides in Africa!
Terrorist Organizations such as Boko Haram in Nigeria and Al Shabab in Somalia are kidnapping young boys and girls every day to use as fighters, suicide bombers, and trafficking to ISIS and Al Qaeda to become soldiers.
And still, African Terrorism is largely ignored in the International Community. All Africans get are short speeches and news captions such as:
* The United Nations condemns the killing of 800 people by Boko Haram in northern Nigeria
* The European Union has strongly condemned the attacks on civilians by Al Shabab in Somalia
But the whole world stands still when an European or American is harmed. Is this how we shall continue? Is this how we shall continue playing politics of the mouth until the sudden grim reaper start knocking on our doors and taking away our lives and forcing our children into slavery? We should beware because no corner of the world is exempted and we are all prey to the ravaging monster called Terrorism.
Drugs and relieve materials sent through Doctors Without Borders are not the only salvation Africa needs. That is just a simple case of "medicine after headache!"
Invest more in toppling terrorism in Africa and you will see ISIS and Al Qaeda fiddle out like a river cut off from its fountain. Stop your arms dealers from selling black market weapons and ammunition to Africa and you will see the end of terrorism.
If the International Community continue as if it is of little concern to them what Africans do to themselves. Then the day of reckoning is almost upon us. Those days, the nuclear warheads and stealth fighter jets will be useless. Their superior fighting powers will be evenly marched with the will of hundreds of thousands of terrorists that are willing to die as martyrs.
There can be no religion without humanity...there can be no humanity without religion!
Save Africa because it is the last hope of humanity!
