90th Anniversary Event of Igbobi College - Yemi Osinbajo

 

 

Oluyemi Oluleke Yemi Osinbajo is a Nigerian lawyer and politician who has served as the Vice President of Nigeria since 29 May 2015.

At the 90th Anniversary Event of Igbobi College, Osibajo said he introduced himself properly to one of his colleagues as Osinbajo II of Townsend House, Igbobi College. He also said that it was in Igbobi, he learnt that he had a strength in the Arts, and that he could not be a sprinter or a footballer.

 He aforementioned;

 “For many of us, our personalities and values were shaped by the College.

 “If there is one thing that Igbogbi has taught us, it is the difference one person can make by taking responsibility for their own little corner of the world and the duty to pay it forward. We have the future counting on us and we must not let them down.

 “Igbobi celebrated orderliness, honesty, self-denial and anyone who was caught stealing became an outcast. There was no special treatment.
