A Nigeria woman has been arrested and charged to court today for allegedly brutalizing her houseboy yesterday.
Mrs Omoyemi Opeyemi (Suspect) who brutalize the Boy (Joel Sunday) in the viral video yesterday was arraigned before a Chief magistrate in Akure today on a 5 count charge which include attempted murder and human trafficking, she pleaded guilty. The matter has been adjourned to 14/21/2022 for the ruling.
A neighbor who raised the alarm said that the woman might have used a razor blade to inflict injuries to the boy. It was also stated that the reason was because the boy stole meat in her pot.
The boy is still receiving adequate treatment and care at the police clinic Akure while the boy’s younger sibling has been withdrawn from the care of the woman’s family and taken into govt custody.
According to Simeon Toluwani Borokini, who visited the boy at the hospital today said, “I've offset his pending medical bills as no relative has shown up to attend to him aside his good neighbors.
