Alhaji Sheikh Adam Tair, Chief Imam of Kafanchan Central Mosques, has died after a brief illness.
According to Muhammad Kassim, Deputy Chief Imam of Kafanchan, He said Sheikh died on Wednesday, 16th February. He also stated that the late Imam had spent many years leading the Jumu'at Prayer at the Central Mosque. he claimed Sheikh was devoted, a role model to the young, and would greatly be missed by the faithful Muslim.
in a condolence message, Muhammad Isa Muhammad II, the Emir of Jema'a, said Sheikh's death was a great loss to the emirate and the southern parts of Kaduna.
Sheikh was aged 130 years. survived by 26 children, 290 grandchildren and over 200 Great Grandchildren, he would be buried in the morning today, Thursday, 17th.
