Cancer is a disease that affect the body, it occurs when abnormal cell grows outside their usual domain in other organs. It is the leading causes of death globally.
According WHO there are about 1.41 million cases of people suffering from prostate cancer. That’s why on ever world cancer day, there is always an awareness to the public to share reliable and trusted information and to provide people with the knowledge to differentiate fact from fiction.
The symptoms: Different people have different symptoms for prostate cancer. What to watch out for are; difficulty in urination, frequently urination, especially at night, blood in the urine or semen, difficulty in emptying the bladder completely.
Can it be treated?: Prostate cancer can be treated and there are many options from watching and waiting for surgery and chemotherapy. The sooner the discovery, the better the treatment given.
Diagnosis: most Prostate cancer are, first found through screening though the actual diagnosis of prostate cancer can only be made with a prostate biopsy. Biopsy is a procedure in which small samples of the prostate are removed and then looked at with a microscope.
