Daniel Ogazi a Nigerian politician at the State Houses of Assembly level is celebrating his 10 years marriage anniversary today.

Daniel Ogazi currently serves as the State Representatives representing the people of Kokona East constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly.

Adamawa Man Lured, Rapes Five-year-old Schoolgirl

A 28 year old man, identified as Adamu Abdullahi, has been arrested for allegedly raping a 5 years old (name withheld) Nursery school girl in Mubi local government area of Adamawa state.

It was said that the suspect lured the victim who attends Halibath Nursery and primary school, at Anguwan Madina to an uncompleted building and had carnal knowledge with her.

It was also said that the suspect (Adamu) took advantage of her while the victim was coming back home from school alone. It was further reported that he used N20 biscuit as a bait to lure her to the hideout and raped her.

A neighbor who sighed and suspected him alerted others, leading to his arrest.

Meantime, the judge ordered that the defendant be remanded in prison custody.

MEET OLUWASEYI ADEWUMI WHO BROKE 59 YEARS RECORD IN UNILAG BY EMERGING THE BEST GRADUATING STUDENT IN CIVIL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING

Meet Miss Oluwaseyi Adewumi who recently graduated from Unilag and emerged as the best graduating student in civil and environmental engineering.

Wumi finished with a first-class,with a CGPA of 4.84 breaking a 59-year-old record in the process. she also bagged 11 scholarships and awards as well as got a US job with America’s leading consulting firm - Boston Consulting Group (BCG).

At the 2020 convocation, she emerged as the overall best graduating first female student of the faculty of engineering.

In her speech to  Linkedin, she appreciated God for seeing her through out the 6-years undergraduate program. She also listed her achievements in school stating that she got 11 awards and scholarships.

 

A very big congratulations to her.  indeed the future is female!!

The Stanbic IBTC Bank is celebrating her 33 years anniversary today being February 2, 2022.

Atedo Peterside a Nigerian entrepreneur, investment banker, and economist, who is the founder of Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc., Anap Business Jets Limited (Anap Jets), and the Atedo N. A. Peterside Foundation (Anap Foundation) said  that IBTC is celebrating her 33 years anniversary today.

Peterside founded the Investment Banking & Trust Company Limited (IBTC) in February 1989 at age 33. He served as the Bank's CEO till 2007.

In his statement on his twitter handler today he said:

“Exactly 33 years ago, IBTC now Stanbic-IBTC was founded when I was 33 years old. That was on 02 February, 1989. Today, 33 years later I thank God for the lives of all those who played a part in building this great institution and in making it possible for me to look back 33 years.

NOTORIOUS BULLY MANHANDLED BY FUTA STUDENTS - SAY NO TO OPPRESSION

 

One of the wanted bullies and tormentors of FUTA students popularly known as ‘Tallest’ was nabbed last night at South Gate and handed over to Amotekun Corps in Akure, Ondo state.

According to some of the students, the said suspect and his gang aren't  a member of the school nor a student but has been tormenting them and making them suffer daily at the South-gate close to the school.

“It was also said that the students had also protested concerning the matter but no actions were taken from the school school management.

“But as the saying goes “ 99 days is for the thief, one day is for the owner’ Tallest and his gangs were doing their normal daily activities of harassing; this time to a set of wrong students who decided to attack them but in the process, K-Faction and Quadri escaped leaving Tallest to face the brunt of the angry students.

"After receiving a great beating, the Students went ahead to buy him Energy drink (Monster) and still gave him last beating before he was handed over to Amotekun Corps.

Peter Obi declares interest in 2023 presidential race

 

Early this morning, former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi declares a bid for presidency and at the very least, a position in office, in 2023.

Recall that obi pleaded with Nigerians to give him more time to decide if he would contest for the 2023 presidential election or not. He also urged his supporters not to sue him for not declaring for the 2023 presidency yet, saying he has no money for court cases.

Peter Gregory Obi a Nigerian politician and businessman, who was the vice presidential candidate in the 2019 Nigerian general election under the People's Democratic Party (P.D.P) and also the former governor of Anambra State has finally declared a bid to partake to upcoming election in 2023 with a condition attached.

On his twitter handle he quoted;

“Yes, I will step into the field to contest for the opportunity to serve this great country as President if my party, the zones the ticket to the south. But if it is thrown open, Nigerians will also hear from me.

Senator Ben -Murray loses Mum at age 95

 

 

The founder of Silverbird Grop, a businessman and Senator representing Bayelsa East Senatorial District, in Bayelsa state, Benedict Murray-Bruce has lost his mother Margaret Murray - Bruce in the early hours of today February 1, 2022 at 4.40am to death. 

In his statement on Tuesday on his twitter page he said;

"Life, indeed, is like a sand in the wind, today it's here, tomorrow it's gone. my mum is gone. she died at 4:40am this morning. My gem of inestimable value, my support system, my best friend, my everything - she's gone.

" My consolation is that in her lifetime, i gave her not just everything that money could buy, but most importantly, i gave her my present, my time and my everything.

"On uncountable occasion, i will go to her house to hug her and play with her for no reason but love, the kind that only sons share with their mums. i love you mum and i miss you. This hurts so bad. Forever yours.

May her soul rest in peace and May the Lord grant you the fortitude to bear this great loss. Accept my condolences 

90th Anniversary Event of Igbobi College - Yemi Osinbajo

 

 

Oluyemi Oluleke Yemi Osinbajo is a Nigerian lawyer and politician who has served as the Vice President of Nigeria since 29 May 2015.

At the 90th Anniversary Event of Igbobi College, Osibajo said he introduced himself properly to one of his colleagues as Osinbajo II of Townsend House, Igbobi College. He also said that it was in Igbobi, he learnt that he had a strength in the Arts, and that he could not be a sprinter or a footballer.

 He aforementioned;

 “For many of us, our personalities and values were shaped by the College.

 “If there is one thing that Igbogbi has taught us, it is the difference one person can make by taking responsibility for their own little corner of the world and the duty to pay it forward. We have the future counting on us and we must not let them down.

 “Igbobi celebrated orderliness, honesty, self-denial and anyone who was caught stealing became an outcast. There was no special treatment.

Maryam Abacha University in Kano State has named a Street in the University after Late Haneefah Abubakar Abdulsalam.

 

Little Girl of 5 years old who was kidnapped and killed by her teacher in Kano gets a street named after her in the newly established Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria , Kano.

The suspect, Abdulmalik Mohammed Tanko, Age 30, proprietor of Hanifa’s Noble Kids Academy, Kwanar Dakata in Nasarawa Local Government Area, Kano State, had claimed that after collecting a ransom of N100,000 from the victim,s parents, he used N100 rat poison to kill her before burying her in one of the school's branch.

"He also cleared doubt that this wasn't due to ritual purpose but that he didn't know were to keep the body nor wanted to be caught.  

We are yet to hear the Judgement that has been passed out to the said suspect. and we hope that her killer wont go unpunished. May her soul Rest in peace!
