A 28 year old man, identified as Adamu Abdullahi, has been arrested for allegedly raping a 5 years old (name withheld) Nursery school girl in Mubi local government area of Adamawa state.
It was said that the suspect lured the victim who attends Halibath Nursery and primary school, at Anguwan Madina to an uncompleted building and had carnal knowledge with her.
It was also said that the suspect (Adamu) took advantage of her while the victim was coming back home from school alone. It was further reported that he used N20 biscuit as a bait to lure her to the hideout and raped her.
A neighbor who sighed and suspected him alerted others, leading to his arrest.
Meantime, the judge ordered that the defendant be remanded in prison custody.
