DRAMA: Adamawa Ag Gov Denies Buying SUVs For LG Chairmen

Media lenses has been on Adamawa for some time now since the start of the Impeachment saga of the former Governor of Murtala Nyako as the Acting Governor of Adamawa State Mr. Ahmadu Fintiri, has denied speculations that the state government purchased Sports Utility Vehicles for local government chairmen in the state.

Fintiri, who spoke through his media aide, Solomon Kumangar, on Wednesday, said the purported purchase of SUVs for the council chairmen was the handiwork of mischief makers.

He said, “The issue of the purchase of the jeeps is just a calculated attempt to discredit the interim government and distract the attention of the public from the current probe to recover N82bn from the immediate past administration.

Only God knows when bribery and corruption will end in our great country Nigeria as the monster called corruption runs down to the grassroots.

I wonder what the council councillors would have gotten as well, maybe keke napep.

God help us
