A NIGERIA LADY HAS BEEN ARRESTED AND CHARGED TO COURT FOR BRUTALIZING HER HOUSEBOY IN ONDO STATE.

A Nigeria woman has been arrested and charged to court today for allegedly brutalizing her houseboy yesterday.

Mrs Omoyemi Opeyemi (Suspect) who brutalize the Boy (Joel Sunday) in the viral video yesterday was arraigned before a Chief magistrate in Akure today on a 5 count charge which include attempted murder and human trafficking, she pleaded guilty. The matter has been adjourned to 14/21/2022 for the ruling.

A neighbor who raised the alarm said that the woman might have used a razor blade to inflict injuries to the boy. It was also stated that the reason was because the boy stole meat in her pot.

 The boy is still receiving adequate treatment and care at the police clinic Akure while the boy’s younger sibling has been withdrawn from the care of the woman’s family and taken into govt custody.

According to Simeon Toluwani Borokini, who visited the boy at the hospital today said, “I've offset his pending medical bills as no relative has shown up to attend to him aside his good neighbors.

COUNSEL : Benin Republic to extend Sunday Igboho detention by 6 months - Yoruba Nation

Sunday Adeyemo, who is also known as Sunday Igboho, a Yoruba nation agitator, is intended to spend additional six months in prison in Benin Republic after the unlawful detention without trial in Benin Republic.

Yomi Aliyyu, one of Sunday’s Counsel stated on Sunday night, that contrary to what was said in the news by a lawyer that Igboho would be released, the government has extended his detention by six months despite the fact that there was no criminal record of files in Cotonou or extradition request from Nigeria.

He quoted: “ Sunday is no doubt a courageous man. It is very authoritative only if the Yoruba leaders would stop being selfish and allow good to dominate”. He further concluded that him and others would meet the ECOWAS Court, Though they never obeyed…

The formal Governor of Ekiti, Ayodele Fayose, said Nigerians will be doomed if APC wins the upcoming 2023 Presidential election.

In his interview today, he said that the election is about the decision of Nigerians if they will remain in unending poverty or save themselves. He also said that if the APC wins without the PDP winning the Nigerians are doomed.

in his speech, he stated that the kind of leadership Nigeria witnessed since 2015 were insecurity, increase in price of things especially in goods and petroleum like gas, Diesel and fuel. Not Forgetting that the impact of them are always felt by the masses.

Fayose also denied supporting Bola Ahemed Tinibu, APC Chieftain for  2023 president. he also said that even though both Him and Tinibu are Yoruba, they don't have same trait and that both will have different leadership.   He quoted;

 “Who has told you that I don’t want to be president? Who has told you that if the PDP picks me that I will not defeat Asiwaju? Who has told you? You don’t know, maybe I will still contest. If I come out and they zone it to the South-west, and they say it’s Fayose, if they pick Asiwaju, I will defeat him.

“Would Tinubu leave the APC people and come to give me appointments? or will he make me vice president, such that I work for the APC? It is not possible. Tinubu is for the APC, I am for the PDP. All these insinuations are just to call the dog a bad name to hang it.”

“It is impossible. How do I claim to be the husband of a woman in another man’s house? Loose talks. Listen, the PDP government is far better than the APC government in Nigeria.

PROSTATE CANCER!: why men needs to be aware.

 

Cancer is a disease that affect the body, it occurs when abnormal cell grows outside their usual domain in other organs. It is the leading causes of death globally.

According WHO there are about 1.41 million cases of people suffering from prostate cancer. That’s why on ever world cancer day, there is always an awareness to the public to share reliable and trusted information and to provide people with the knowledge to differentiate fact from fiction.

The symptoms: Different people have different symptoms for prostate cancer. What to watch out for are; difficulty in urination, frequently urination, especially at night, blood in the urine or semen, difficulty in emptying the bladder completely.

Can it be treated?:  Prostate cancer can be treated and there are many options from watching and waiting for surgery and chemotherapy. The sooner the discovery, the better the treatment given.

Diagnosis: most Prostate cancer are, first found through screening though the actual diagnosis of prostate cancer can only be made with a prostate biopsy. Biopsy is a procedure in which small samples of the prostate are removed and then looked at with a microscope.

FG Blows Hot! : Hold Parents Responsible for Increase in Crime.

FG blamed the increase in crime among youths in the country on parents lack of upbringings. Lamenting to the rate at which the young engage in ritual killings under the pretext of looking for quick money, cultism, drug abuse and rape were alarming.

Rauf Aregbesola, Minister of the interior while hosting the 1975 set of his secondary school at Akoko Anglican Grammar school, said “the upbringing of students should not be left for the teachers but that the parents are to join hands in bringing them up, even the tiers of the government.

“The Osun state former governor, called on teachers and parents to be more committed to the upbringing of the children for a better society in the country. He also said that bringing up the children in a good manner would go a long way in taking good care of youths, preventing vices and any wrongdoings ravaging society.

“When parents are sensitive to what their children need to the company they keep, definitely we are going to have well-groomed and disciplined children.”

Concerning the matter, Aregbesola said that, “It was obvious the government alone can not attend to the needs of all, particularly in terms of good infrastructure and this will led him to joining the other old students to see how he could support, assist in providing infrastructure, fund the effort of the government and also motivate the current student.

FIRE OUTBREAK - DESTROY PROPERTIES, KILLS GIRL IN ENUGU STATE

A fire outbreak has killed a girl of eight years in a building fire in Enugu south local Government area in Enugu state and also destroyed properties worth million of Naira.

According to the Chief Fire and Rescue Officer, Chief Ohaa, confirmed the incident on Thursday to the NAN in enugu. He also said that his team responded immediately after it was reported which started at about 8.30pm.

“He further said that after the immediate intervention of his team, they rescues the remaining rooms in the building but however it was unfortunate that the fire has already entered one of the rooms the eight years old was sleeping.

“The grandfather of the deceased Mr Lazarus Anya-Anike, said that the fire was caused by candle light used for reading by one of his grandchildren preparing for examinations.

“My granddaughter, Ifunanya (8), who lost her life in the incident, was inside the room sleeping while other children ran when the fire started and they shouted for help as it was beyond them.

 

we sympathize with the family and may her soul rest in peace.   

HAPPENING NOW: DEMOSTRATION AGAINST THE INCESSANT ACCIDENTS IN AKUNGBA-AKOKO, ONDO STATE.

It is not our joy that students and indigence are dying and losing their lives to trailer accidents. It is painful and sad to see students trying to get an education getting killed by trailer accidents.

Trailer accident is very rampant in the community in Akungba-Akoko. Tiny hilly road and heavy duty trailers are the cause of all these deaths. Innocent students of AAUA and indigence are dying.

 

All students bodies and associations in Ondo State have converge on Akungba-Akoko for a peaceful demonstration against the incessant accidents. The call is for the government to find a possible solution to the deadly road. “Enough is Enough”

 

The Government of the State needs to do something and find a solutions to the problem. Roads needs to be repaired, heavy duty trailers also need to reduced if possible and away from roads that is been used in the state to avoid more deaths.

Adamawa Man Lured, Rapes Five-year-old Schoolgirl

A 28 year old man, identified as Adamu Abdullahi, has been arrested for allegedly raping a 5 years old (name withheld) Nursery school girl in Mubi local government area of Adamawa state.

It was said that the suspect lured the victim who attends Halibath Nursery and primary school, at Anguwan Madina to an uncompleted building and had carnal knowledge with her.

It was also said that the suspect (Adamu) took advantage of her while the victim was coming back home from school alone. It was further reported that he used N20 biscuit as a bait to lure her to the hideout and raped her.

A neighbor who sighed and suspected him alerted others, leading to his arrest.

Meantime, the judge ordered that the defendant be remanded in prison custody.
